New Etsy Shop
I recently opened a second Etsy shop to sell my handknit items as well as some vintage dolls and collectibles. My new shop can be found at madebymig.etsy.com and I'll be adding more vintage goodies and knitted items soon!

I Love Knitting
The last thing I needed was another hobby, but I've been wanting to learn to knit for a long time. I finally decided to just go out and get some yarn, needles and a book. And with the help of some youtube knitting videos I'm now a knitter! I've already finished a scarf and now I'm working on a shawl and some other projects. And I have a favorite new website, ravelry.com where you can keep up with your yarn, needles, books, projects and there's even a queue for future projects. I love knitting!

More Baby Birds
I'm excited to report that our little birds have come back and built a new nest in the geranium, and this time there are five eggs! So in a few weeks we should have more baby birds, yay! In other news I've decided to join some Etsy Teams to help promote my Etsy shop and to meet some other sellers with similar interests. I've joined the Christian Artist Street Team, Etsy Artist Card Street Team, Etsy for Animals, Fantasy Artists of Etsy, Loco for Gocco and Etsy Veg. Etsy for Animals even has its own Etsy shop where all of the shop profits go to a different charity each month. I'll be donating some prints and goodies to the shop soon.
